Me and Mommy

It doesn't happen very often, but Daddy was able to take some photos of Mommy and Miss Olivia. I am usually behind the camera, so I wanted to actually prove that her and I enjoy our time together as well. Although you wouldn't know it by the look on her face in this picture! Even though she looks terrified, she was really having a great time! :-) Also, we still have our reading time in the mornings before I leave for work, so that is fun. Grandma Dina, can you tell what book we are reading??

Nana and Paw Paw's house

Daddy had poker night again tonight, so we decided to go visit Nana and Paw Paw, and Aunt Shell had the same thought. As you can see from the pictures, the babies were trying to catch on to the sharing concept, but it didn't last too long. They later decided it was a lot more fun to try to steal the toys from the other. I'm sure they have no idea how much fun they will have growing up together..not to mention trying to scheme against Kaleigh! :-) Looks like Nana had her hands full, although they were loving every minute of it!

Just a normal day...

Today was simply a normal day of eating and playing. As you can see, the tongue continues to be out of the mouth for the better part of each day!

Playing in Bouncy Seat

Now that Olivia has started getting a little longer, she is really enjoying her bouncy seat. She is finally able to touch the bottom with her feet, and she gets so excited. We didn't do much tonight, so just thought I would share some more pictures of her in the seat. Does anyone else think she looks like Aunt Shell in the one where she is looking down at the lights?? And, for some reason the close up one with her tongue out makes her eyes look a little crooked...but still cute!! :-)

Lunch with the Gang

After Daddy and the boys went golfing today, we all went to lunch at TGIFriday's. It was fun to get everyone back together again, since it had been a while. Not to mention, Mathus was in town for a few days. He lives out in California with Scott, so it was great to see him. It was a nice surprise!! Here are pictures of the gang...

Spending the Day with Mommy and Daddy

Mommy had to have her x-rays taken this morning. I went to the Doctor yesterday to discuss my tailbone issues again and he recommended I get x-rays taken and start physical therapy. So, I went this morning to start that whole process. Hopefully, they will finally be able to tell if it is fractured or what is going on. Anyway, after I got home, Mommy, Daddy and Olivia went out for lunch and then went shopping. We went to Olive Garden...Daddy's favorite place.. and then shopping for a little while. Even though it rained most of the day, we had a great time. Then, went for ice cream and to visit Grandpa. We didn't get too many pictures, but had a few to share of Olivia and Mommy!

Aunt Shell over...

Aunt Shell, Kaleigh and Parker came over tonight. We just ordered pizza and hung out for a while. As usual, and as you have read in many other posts, we took the opportunity to get some pictures of the kids.

Dinner with Gma, Great Gma and Gpa

Grandma Jean and Bob were going to be leaving Sunday, so we went to see them and have dinner before they left. It was a great night, however you'll have to take my word for it cause I actually forgot my camera. However, Dina and Jean got a few good ones that they are going to send me, so I'll post them later. I know most of you stopped reading after I said I forgot my camera, cause that just doesn't seem possible. But, it happened...for the first and last time!! :-) So, no pictures of the evening to post just yet, but here are a few random ones of Olivia.

Playing with Daddy

Another uneventful evening. Mommy had a haircut appointment so it was just Olivia and Daddy tonight. I got this great shot when I got home of the two of them...and a few more just for fun! s you can tell from the mouth wide open, everything goes directly to it!! We definitely have quite a few shots of the open mouth...cause that has almost been a permanent face lately!!

Big girl...sitting up!

Today was pretty uneventful, however we did get some practice in. Little Miss Olivia has been trying hard to sit up on her own. However, just as she tends to be a little lazy when we try to stand her up, she is similar when it comes to sitting up. She is getting pretty strong, but you would never know it, cause her body just goes limp and she gives you this look like, I don't think so! It is pretty funny! However, I tried to snap a few shots of her trying!

Family Reunion and TT Races

The St. Clair Family Reunion was today. Although, Shane and I had planned to go to the TT Races, so we weren't able to stay long. We got to see a few people, and then had to leave. But, Olivia got to stay and visit some more cause Nana and Paw Paw watched here while we were gone. As you can see from the pictures, they pretty much let Miss Olivia do as she pleases...including take a few sips of beer! :-) They had a great time watching her...it was the first opportunity they have had, so it was fun! Paw Paw was playing with one of her toys and she was getting such a kick out of it. I got a few great profile shots. Sweet Baby Girl!! Mommy left the races early since she was missing Olivia so much...all day Saturday and part of Sunday was a little too much. So, after the races we went to dinner and came home. It is only 8:30, but it might be bedtime...long weekend, but extremely fun!!

Shopping Trip

Today was the Girls Shopping Trip!! Shell, Tara, Crystal and I went to Michigan City, Indiana today to The Lighthouse Plaza mall. There were over 120 stores at this mall, and needless to say we had a great time. It was about three hours away...or four counting the hour we spent stuck in a traffic jam! However, with the four of us in the car together..even that was so much fun! We took the opportunity to crank up the radio and attempt to be the next big all female rock band. I'm sure it was a sight to see for the other cars next to us. We arrived at the mall at about 11:00, so all we wanted to do was get into a store. We had attempted to map out our game plan for the day on our way up...we even had a print out of the entire mall! However, after the first two stores, we decided we needed to fuel up first so we stopped for lunch. Leave it to us to want to eat first before shopping. After we ate, we jumped in with both feet. There was so many stores and so little time. It didn't take long before we realized we better pick up the pace and not go in every single store, otherwise we were never going to make it. However, we did pretty good. It was about 6:00 when we called it a day. This was after two trips to the car to dump off packages and bags of goodies. We knew we wanted to stop for dinner before leaving, so we headed out. We stopped at a Chili's on the way home, and recapped what a great day we had. It was so much fun and something we will definitely do again soon. By this time, we were all ready to get home and kiss the babies. So, Eureka couldn't have come soon enough. I couldn't beleive it, but no one slept on the way home...imagine that, we just talked the entire time! Great job girls...I thought I would be the only one awake for the three hour drive!! I had my camera, but only took one picture of Tara wearing some blue glasses...not sure she would have wanted me to post that on here, so I decided against it! Anyway, thanks girls...I had a ball!! Oh yeah, all the babies were alive when we got home...nice job Daddy!!!

Feeling better..

Well, Kathy said she did a little better today. It started off a little rough again this morning for her when most of her breakfast came back up. However, she seemed to feel better after that, and Kathy was even able to get her laughing towards the end of the day..which always makes for a great day! I stopped at the store to get her juice and other things we were going to try, and about 5:30 or so we gave her a few ounces of the juice, Apple Prune, and she loved it. To be honest, she sucked it down so fast that I don't even think she knew it was anything different. She seemed satisfied after that so we'll see if it works. Then, she started crying shortly after that and since we wanted to bring some food back into her routine, we got the cereal and carrots out shortly after that. She was so excited about that as well, and ate almost everything I made. Then little miss piggy wanted her normal bottle at the same time she regularly eats, ut only ate 4 ounces instead of her normal six. So, she had her belly full and should sleep pretty good tonight! We'll see how it goes...

Rough night..

Daddy had poker tonight so it was just Mommy and Olivia. The night started out just fine and everything seemed to be normal. Olivia ate at her normal time and went to bed shortly afterwards. However, about 10:00 she started getting a little fussy and was moving all around so I could tell something wasn't right. She started grunting really bad and I could tell she was trying to go to the bathroom (bet you all didn't think you would hear about this on her site, but you have to take the bad with the good). Anyhow, she struggled and I worked with her for over an hour. She preferred for me to hold her against my chest and tuck her feet way up. Finally, she did the deed, I changed her diaper, and back to sleep we went. Then, she woke up again at about 3:00 in the morning with the same thing. However, this time she couldn't go, even though we worked with her again for quite some time. She did finally get back to sleep, however we made the assumption the formula she has been taking just isn't agreeing with her belly. I have officially stopped nursing her as of this past Saturday, and today was the last official day before mving entirely to formula. So, after talking with Kathy and my friend at work, we are going to need to try a few different things in order to make this transition a little better for her. I bought some juice that we will dilute with water, some Mylicon, and the low iron formula that we will try for a while. So, keep your fingers crossed that hopefully one of these things work!!
Sorry again that you have to hear about all this stuff too, but you have to remember, this site was first intended to be my journal of her progress. So, you may have to suffer through some of this in order to enjoy the rest! :-) To combat the gross stories, I have added some sweet pictures of Olivia!
