Olivia's First Halloween!

All Mommy could think about all day was getting home and putting Olivia in her duck costume. It was one that Grandpa had bought for Kaleigh, but she was never able to wear! So, it was brand new and Olivia fit in it perfectly. So, thanks Grandpa! Mommy was so excited for everyone to see her in it, so as soon as I got home, we were off. We had to try and time it just right so we could get our running done in time to feed her at 7:00. So, we went to Great Gma and Gpa Davis's first and met up with Grandpa. They were not home unfortunately, cause they were at the hospital with Aunt Mabel, but we got to see Grandpa. He was excited to see Olivia too! Although from the picture, she looked a little confused or upset about something. But, in reality she had just woke up from her nap on the way there. After that, we headed to Great Gma and Aunt Shirley's to visit, and then on to Nana and Paw Paw's house. Lastly, we went to Grandma Dina's house to see her and Dave, and Cayce came over too! By this time, Miss Olivia was pretty exhausted. She really didn't know what was going on the entire time, and didn't really seem to notice she was in the duck costume. However, shortly after arriving, we took it off and put our PJ's on...much better! She was tired and could barely finish her dinner. After she was done, we headed home. What a great first Halloween...one we certainly won't forget!

Fun in the Bath!

Daddy thought it would be fun, and has been dying to give Olivia her bath in the kitchen sink. So, needless to say, that is what we did. It beats getting down on our hands and knees, but it won't be long and she will be too big for the sink...better take advantage for as long as we can. He even went as far as filling both sinks with water...one for washing and one for rinsing! Next, he'll want to throw her in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes! :-) As you can see from the splashing of the water, she was really enjoying herself and loves to feel the water coming from the faucet!

Fun Day!!

Aunt Shell, Uncle Tim, Kaleigh and Parker came over to visit today. It was a beautiful day, so you won't see pictures of the guys on here cause they were golfing. Since it is getting colder, their days are numbered so they have to enjoy it while it lasts. It did give Aunt Shell and Mommy some time to enjoy the kids...and update the websites. Aunt Shell hadn't had a chance to work on hers because of their dial up, so she used Mommy's computer. She got a lot done and it looks great. Her link is located on the right hand side under Erxleben Family. Enjoy! We did get some pictures of the kids playing...Kaleigh had so much fun playing with Olivia's toy airplane..she rode it around the house all day!!

Sharing so good..

At Derrick and Angie's the babies were doing so good playing together. We keep saying they will have to "deal" with each other their whole lives, so they better get used to it early. They were playing and sharing their toys so good!

Derrick and Angie's

After visiting with Gma and Gpa, Mommy and Olivia met Aunt Shell at the mall to do some shopping. If you can believe it, I didn't even buy anything for Olivia. Instead, I bought myself a new jacket and shirt. Sorry Olivia...definitely next time! After we went shopping, we met Angie for lunch at Avanti's. We had a great lunch and went back to their house to try and help out with Baby Stella's room. There wasn't much the girls could do, so we watched a movie instead! Baby Stella is going to be arriving this week, so we all can't wait to meet her and see who she looks like. Also, it will be nice for Olivia and the rest of the kids to have another playmate.

Visit with Gma and Gpa

This morning we were up bright and early as usual, and were going to go to breakfast before Daddy headed off to work again. Although, he ended up having to get some parts at a few places before going, so we couldn't go. However, it worked out great cause I went to visit Great Gma and Gpa Davis! It had been a little while since we had seen them too, so they had a ball. I did have my camera today, so got a lot of good ones.

Visit with Gma St. Clair and Aunt Shirley

Friday night Olivia and I went to visit Great Grandma St.Clair and Aunt Shirley. We had a great time and it was good to see them. Ever since Grandma went to the hospital last week, she has said how much she wants to see the babies, so I took Olivia since Daddy was working all night. They were happy to see Olivia, unfortunately I did not have my camera with me! We'll have to go again soon! Afterwards, we headed for home to watch the Cardinal game! Go Cardinals...World Series Champions!! Daddy was able to get home in time to finish the game as well, but would be at it again first thing in the morning.

Home from Work

Moomy stayed home from work today because she cannot seem to shake this cold. In fact, I was up early with Olivia to get her ready and fed, then Daddy took her to Kathy's for me. I knew I needed some rest, so I went back to bed and did not wake up until about 10:15 when someone from work called. That was just what I needed. I ended up picking Olivia up later that afternoon after trying to get some work done, and we spent the rest of the afternoon together. Although, that evening when Dad got home, he took over. I didn't want to just pass our colds back and forth, so they played most of the evening.

Sick Mommy...

Well, I don't know if it was Miss Olivia that gave the cold to Mommy or vice versa, but we are both coughing, sneezing, with runny noses, etc. It has not been fun around the Cline household lately and Shane has done great about taking care of us as usual. I swear Olivia is so fed up with me wiping her nose, that she just cannot take it any more. It makes her so mad, and I feel so bad, but consider the alternative...gross! I actually left work a little early today to try to get some rest, but that certainly doesn't happen very easy these days! I did manage to get a few pictures of Olivia when I went to pick her up. She definitely helped make me feel a little better!

Lazy Day

Just as with every Sunday, today was a lazy day. Olivia was up quite a bit last night, so I knew she would take a long nap. She was up at her normal time, but then did take a three hour nap this morning...and so did Mommy and Daddy! Well, maybe not a three hour nap for us, but at least an hour, which was long overdue. We had so many great intentions on getting stuff done around the house, but didn't get to any of it. It was so nice, although we will certainly be regretting it next week!

Euchre Tournament

This morning, the three of us went to breakfast bright and early. Olivia certainly didn't get in the routine of trying to sleep in on the weekends, but nonetheless, we were up at our normal 6:00 which was okay. Daddy was supposed to be in a golf outing this morning, although realized later that it is tomorrow instead, and Mommy had the annual Euchre tournament. So, after breakfast in Bartonville, we took Olivia to Grandma's to spend the afternoon. Aunt Jenny came over too, so that was nice as well. They spent most of the morning together, however Mommy forgot to leave her camera there, so I just got a few...although I'm sure between Gma and Aunt Jenny, there were plenty taken that I can retrieve! :-) The one posted shows the new duck slippers Gma bought for her! Daddy was able to pick Olivia up after golfing and they were able to spend the evening together...Daddy bonding time. He said they had a great time, as did Mommy. This was the 10th year for the Euchre tournament, and I think Aunt Shell and I have only missed two years? What a great time...there were 44 people that played this year, so there were 11 tables. Basically, you rotate every round (10 rounds) and have a new partner each round. So, you are moving quite a bit, and having a ball with a new group every time. So much fun! Then, after the tournament, many of the people stayed around to play poker, although Mommy was out early. She was eliminated with three 7's and then three queens...better luck next time! It was fun though and that was all that mattered. When Mommy got home, Olivia was already sleeping, but of course I had to check on her a few times before going to bed.

Cookout with the Gang

We went to Aunt Tara and Uncle Jeff's tonight for a cookout. The girls decided on our last shopping trip that we would try to organize a monthly get together, and rotate the event between each couple. So, last month we had the cookout at our house, and this month we went to Tara and Jeff's. We had a great time, and although the girls were inside with the kids most of the time since it was a little cold, and the guys were outside by the fire, we still had fun. Once we put all the kids to sleep, we were able to relax a little more and enjoy the company. What a great time...I got a lot of pictures, so I may have to break them up a little and explain who you see!! The first one is obviously Parker and the second is Miss Olivia. Then, there is Aunt Shell and Parker and our good friend Nicole and her little boy Keenan.

More pictures of the cookout...

Here are a few more pictures from the cookout. You will see Miss Olivia (eyes closed), Kaleigh and Craig (Nicole's other little boy), then Parker and Crystal and Emma.

Go Cardinals!

Tonight was pretty uneventful when it came to Olivia. No more scares today like we had yesterday, and overall she was great. She did play with some more new toys that we got, and really loves them. I think she likes that she can lay on her belly to play with them. She is so close to crawling, but has just done it quite yet. Mommy is starting to get a little worried and hopes she isn't too lazy, although as Kathy mentioned, when she was ready to sit up, she did it quickly one day and that was it. So, there is still hope. She is so good at just rolling to wherever she wants to go, and knows that she can get there quickly, that she would just rather do that instead. But, it won't be long. We keep practicing with her and she spins on her belly all around, and will even get up on her knees, so cross your fingers that it won't be long. I did manage to get some good pictures of her with the Mickey Mouse puzzle toy.

Quite a scare for Mommy...

Today was not a particularly fun day for Mommy...or Kathy. I went to drop her off as usual, and as Kathy and I were talking and I was holding Olivia, all of a sudden her entire body went stiff and she pulled her right shoulder up slightly towards her ear?? It was almost as if she got a chill, but rather than shake as you normally would, she stiffened up. Instantly, Kathy and I just looked at each other and both had that look on our face like, "okay, that was a little strange?" So, she did it a second time and that did it for me. I probably stayed there another 15 minutes or so just making sure nothing was going on. We put her on the floor to play and it didn't seem to affect her at all? Of course, it scared us more than anything. She seemed okay and although Mommy really had a hard time leaving, Kathy said she was comfortable in letting her stay and would call as soon as she woke up from her nap. Well, needless to say Mommy didn't have a great morning, and in fact basically ran to my desk without talking to anyone, and shut the door. Unfortunately, someone did see me and could tell something was wrong, so came in and of course the more I started talking about it, the worse I got. I did call the doctor just to check in with them to see if there was anything unusual about it, and they simply indicated to keep an eye on her and let them know if it continued. Well, Kathy called again around 10:00 and said she did it again. That was enough for me to hear, and I knew I wouldn't be productive at work, so I left. I just needed her to be in my sight, even though everything was okay. She didn't do it again the rest of the evening and in fact, Grandma came over to visit, and she didn't notice anything either. So, hopefully it was nothing, but we will certainly keep our eyes on it!! Scary for Mommy...and Olivia didn't know what the heck was going on and why Mommy was picking her up so early and why she couldn't put her down all night! :-)

Permanent Face

Well, as you can see from many pictures on this site, as well as this last one, Olivia has her tongue most of the time. She definitely has this thing now with her tongue, and it is pretty funny. It really doesn't matter what she is doing, but it seems to be out at all times and a necessity to get anything accomplished! However, it is cute and makes for some great pictures!

Chicago Visitors

Beth, Darryl, (left side of picture) Adam and Sarah (right side of picture) were in town from Chicago this weekend for a friend's wedding, so we were able to see them Sunday. For those that may not know, Beth and Adam are my step- sister and brother...and their significant others. We went to lunch and had a great time, and then went back to Nana and Paw Paw's to watch the football game and visit some more! They had not met Miss Olivia yet, so that was fun. I did get a few pictures of Olivia with Nana, some of her in Paw Paw's chair, and then some of the rest of the gang.
