Memorial Day
Poor Oliver...just look at the face she is making and tell me he is not gonna get it!!

We had the day off today, so naturally the boys thought it was necessary to squeeze in a round of golf! So, the girls took advantage as well and went to visit Aunt Shell and the kids! Olivia has been fascinated with Oliver, their cat, every time we go over there! She follows the poor thing around like his shadow and I can see why he likes to hide when she comes around!!

Nana and Paw Paw

We went to Nana and Paw Paw's tonight to visit after their trip, and to hear all about the wedding! They had a great time, but we were glad to have them home! And, they were glad Daddy had made it over to hook up the gas line for the new grill! Great surprise Daddy!

Girls Night Out

Well, it's Saturday, so you know what that means for the boys...golfing! And Grandma came over to pick up Olivia so she could spend the day with her! It was really nice for her to come all the way over to our house to pick her up, and Mommy was able to clean the house without Olivia walking right behind me to mess it right back up! It was pretty nice and Olivia had fun with Grandma! Afterwards, Mommy went out to dinner with the girls for our monthly gathering. Aunt Shell, Tara, Crystal and I went to dinner and then to play Bingo...yes, we realize we are not 80 year old women, but we still had a great time! We did happen to be the youngest ones in the place, and were certainly not as competitive as most in the room, but boy it was fun! More than anything, we loved to just look around and see how crazy these people were when it came to Bingo...I never saw so much competition!! It was so funny to watch, so of course we laughed the entire time! Afterwards, we went singing and dancing...well mostly we just watched others embarass themselves by trying to sing and we played darts!! It ended up being a long night, but long overdue!

Kathy cannot resist...
So many things to choose from...don't know which one to grab first!

As I have mentioned a thousand times throughout the course of this blog, we just love Kathy and Olivia has really become a part of their family! So much in fact, that Kathy just cannot resist buying gifts for Olivia. She has a teapot at her house that Olivia loves to play with, so on a recent shopping trip, she had to pick one up for her to bring home with her too! :-) And, this has become one of her favorite things to play with...it is usually one of the first things she will run to when she gets home! So, once again, thanks Kathy!!!!
State Farm Visit
Thanks for the book Tami...Mommy just loves all the pieces!

The Brady family was heading out for a vacation this weekend, so Kathy needed the day off...which nevers bothers Mommy of course cause I get to spend the day with Olivia! In fact, I hadn't taken her in to visit everyone at State Farm so it ended up being a good day for it. I didn't have my camera so wasn't able to get pictures, but she had a ball. She definitely caused a disruption at work, and there were many people not too productive during our visit, but they were glad to see her! And, one of my friends actually had given her a book to read, which she had a ball with when we got home!!

We love being outside!
Playing with sticks again...a sharp one at that!

Daddy was working on the air conditioner this evening, so we took advantage and went outside with him. Olivia has finally got used to the grass and doesn't mind walking across the yard any more, so she was having a ball playing with Winston.

Happy Anniversary!!!

Today was Mommy and Daddy's 3rd Anniversary, and as Shane will tell you, it feels like 30! He took me out to dinner tonight to one of my favorite places...Chili's! We had a great time and Olivia went with us as well, so we couldn't do much else cause it was past her bed time. However, we had fun and laughed pretty hard when Olivia decided to stick her finger up her nose. She doesn't know what the heck she is doing, but thinks it's funny when we laugh hysterically at her! We must have laughed the entire way home. Not the most attractive pictures, but funny just the same!

If only I was taller...
After breakfast this morning, we went to Nana and Paw Paw's so Daddy couldn't hook up their gas line for their new grill. They were still in Florida for Adam and Sarah's wedding, so we didn't tell them and hoped it was going to be a great surprise. Olivia's first stop of course was the toy box. We had to pull it out in the middle of the floor, and she just wasn't quite tall enough to reach the good stuff apparently. Notice her feet weren't touching the ground!! It was hilarious...even though it made her a little mad! Mommy was laughing pretty hard (and she didn't like that either)!
