Chief's Game!

Thanks Shane for the surprise!!!

The gang!

Well, as most of you know, Shane and Tim had been planning a big surprise for our birthday for several weeks (well, at least days) before our birthday. They actually did so good with the planning and didn't miss a step...and even threw out some distractions and things to throw us off! For example, they created a list of all the people coming with a color associated with each name. We found out later, this had nothing to do with the event, but they knew we would kill ourselves trying to figure it out! So, needless to say, they had us going for quite some time and we ended up not knowing until we pulled into the parking lot. They had reserved a hotel room downtown so we wouldn't have to drive home that night...turns out that was a great idea! :-) So, we started off the day by meeting at Nana's to drop off the kids and headed to the hotel to get ready. Prior to that, I had to drop Shane off downtown to handle some last minute things and then picked him up on the way. We were still trying to figure it out the entire time, but were just so excited, it didn't really matter what it was. Once we got to the game, everyone else started showing up. We had our own little VIP section of the field...right down the first base line. We had our own tables and seats to watch the game, as well as all the food we could eat. And, they announced our names during the break!! It was awesome and a great surprise!! Great job boys!!!! Thanks everyone for everything..we had a blast and hope you did too!

Karaoke at BG's!!!

You cannot tell from the picture, but these glasses they gave us actually lit up and were battery operated! And, of course, we couldn't just drink beer out of them! :-) That didn't turn out to be the best decision!

Mandy and the birthday girls!

After the Chief's game, we went to BG's in Bartonville for a little karaoke. We only sang a few songs, but that was basically because we couldn't really see the words after a while (that's all I am going to say about that)! Needless to say we didn't take many pictures the rest of the night as well, and it was probably a good thing we didn't! We had so much fun and definitely had a memorable 30th birthday! Thanks everyone for the great time!!

Happy Birthday to Us!

Mommy and Olivia at dinner...of course, her mouth was full!

Well, the day finally has arrived...the big 30!! Unfortunately, Mommy had to work today, but ended up being okay cause the group bought me a cake and balloons! So, it wasn't too bad. Then, we had planned on going to dinner with Nana and Paw Paw, so headed to Old Chicago on the riverfront. We had a call and the kids were all great during dinner...and even better afterwards. We walked along the riverfront and they couldn't get enough! They had so much fun, and it was hilarious to watch them. The pictures of the evening are listed below! Overall, it was a very nice 30th birthday!!! Thanks for dinner Mom and Marc!

On the Riverfront...

Just watching the boats on the river...she had a great view!

Being silly with Daddy!

Smelling the pretty flowers!

Playing peek-a-boo with Daddy and Parker...this was so sweet!

Boys and Babies! This is typically the way it goes...the boys get the kids while we have our arms full with all the "stuff" that it takes to go out! :-)

Parker and Kaleigh

Still cute...even with my mouth full!

Parker with his favorite Uncle Shane!

Kaleigh and Aunt Shell

Kaleigh and Uncle Tim

There was a vendor on the riverfront selling balloons to all the kids...well, most of them. Olivia was too little so she got a little toy instead!

Playing in the yard

Look Mommy at how strong I am!

Such hard work, but someone's gotta do it!

Olivia absolutely loves to play outside in the backyard. One of her new favorites is to push the Ducati all around the yard.

Lunch with Nana and Paw Paw

Reading with Nana!

After breakfast this morning, we went to Nana and Paw Paw's for a little while. It was nap time, so she needed a place to go and they were close! Daddy was going to play golf, so Mommy just visited with Nana and Paw Paw while Olivia napped. After she got up, we headed out for lunch where we met up with Daddy!

Grandparents Day!

Just in case there is one more piece on the plate!

Who me!?

For you Grandma!

Daddy took Mommy out on a date last night...first one in quite some time! We went to dinner and a movie, and Grandma watched Olivia for us! Since the movie was over late, rather than go wake Olivia up, she got to spend the night with Grandma! We got up bright and early to pick her up...Mommy was ready to see her and couldn't get there quick enough. We got there and Olivia needed a little something to hold her over until breakfast! Afterwards, we went to Star Struck for breakfast with Grandma and Dave!

Cookout at our house

I wonder who initiated this pose!?

Much better!

Whoa Uncle Tim!

Playing nicely and actually sharing the toy...although Aunt Shell was the referee!

Aunt Shell, Uncle Tim and the kids came over tonight for a cookout, and as you can see from the pictures, the kids were in very crazy moods.

Playing outside...again!

Watch me Mommy!

Such concentration...it takes a lot out of her to throw it just right!

A very satisfied Olivia after her wonderful throw!

A Visit with Steve and Mel

Playing outside is definitely one of Olivia's favortie things to do!

Today we spent the afternoon at Steve and Mel's. Olivia had a great time! Not only did she have a lot of room to run around, but she loved the cat, dog, fish, etc! We had a great time, and so did Olivia!!
