Happy Birthday Riley!

Super cool!

Don't mess with me!

Helping Grandma put her magnets on the fridge...aka...pulling all of them off!

Playing the piano with Daddy..she's very good!

We went to Riley'd birthday party tonight, although her and the rest of the girls were running around so much that I wasn't able to get a good picture of her! Maybe next time. I did manage to get a few of Olivia with Grandma and Daddy!

Can't get enough...

Almost ready Mommy!

Well, not quite a favorite dish, but she had to take time out to play with the watering can and mug. She was just making sure I didn't go without a drink for dinner!

Not sure what this face was all about???

Olivia sure has gotten a lot of use out of her kitchen set. She loves it and will now bring you a plate of goodies to enjoy. She also ensures you have the proper silverware to use as well...too cute. Then she will wait until you finish and take your plate for you! Mommy loves it, and cannot get enough of her goodies!! :-)

Pool Day!

Typically we don't let Olivia play with knives, but isn't plastic okay!? :-)

This was immediately after Parker splashed her...what a bully!

I think this was when Olivia was barking out orders..some would say she takes after Mom, but I don't necessarily agree!!

Kaleigh was sure enjoying the water, as usual!

Aunt Shell and the kids came over today for a relaxing day of fun in the sun. The kids all did great today and had so much fun in the pool. They actually had an opportunity to play together, rather than one at a time while the other napped! It was a fun day!

Pool Day...more pix!

Might not be the best picture of Parker...with his little pink cups! :-)

This is a typical boy shot...not scared to play in the water!

Another boy shot...ready to push Olivia down the slide!

One of my favorite things..

Olivia has become fascinated again with...picking her toes! She loves to search for toe jam and at times gets pretty close to putting her toes in her mouth! I know...this is pretty gross, but so funny to watch!!!

Playing with Daddy

Whoa Daddy!

Take a quick break!

Realizing I have said this many times before, Daddy loves to play with Olivia, but his most favorite trick is turning her upside down...demonstrated here!!

Happy Birthday Great Grandma!

Daddy wanted Olivia to get in the picture with Mommy and Grandma!

Tonight we went to dinner for Great Grandma St. Clair's birthday! She turned 94 today!!! The whole family was there, and we had a ball! Needless to say we took over almost the entire restaurant, but it was fun for us!! We had cake and everything, which the kids loved!! Happy Birthday Grandma!!!

Back Home

Mmm...I'll take a cheesebuger!

That was good!

Ice cream sounds good!

I SAID ICE CREAM!!

Since the girls spent overnight at the spa, the boys decided they needed to get a golf game in as soon as we returned. So, Mommy stayed over at Aunt Shell's and Daddy and Olivia met us there. Needless to say, Olivia had fun with Daddy while I was gone, although she was still in her pajamas when they arrived at Aunt Shell's! No problem, we were just going to relax anyway! I did manage to get a few closeups of her while we were there!! (captions provided by Daddy)

Ornery Kaleigh!

Spa Trip!!

The girls outside the restaurant...

...and in the restaurant.

All the girls in our pretty robes...ready to be pampered!!

The foursome in our robes!

Mommy and Aunt Shell

This is the view from our balcony, overlooking the beautiful golf course!

Boy have I been waiting for this day!! Our Bunco girls (most of them anyway) decided we needed a girls overnight stay someplace where we could get pampered!! So, we chose a spa in Pana, IL called The Inn at Oak Terrace. It was beautiful...and we will definitely go back! It was located out in the middle of nowhere, in the midst of trees and woods and on a lake. So it was very secluded and we felt as if we were a million miles away...which was the whole point! we arrived just in time to stare the pampering...many of us chose the massage and facial option...heavenly!!! We took our turns and in betweens sessions, we were able to sit out by the lake and just enjoy the peace and quiet! Once we were all through with our sessions, we went to lunch and then to check in to our hotel rooms! We were all so relaxed that we really didn't feel like doing anything else, other than stay in our rooms and have a true girls night. We told stories, laughed, cried and everything in between for the next 8-9 hours before heading to bed. Many of us continued the spa treatment and did makeovers during that time as well. So, as I mentioned it was a true girls night and we had so much fun!!!

Another doctor appointment...

Well, Kathy called Mommy late this afternoon letting her know that Miss Olivia was running a temp of 102. So, since she hadn't been feeling too good, she called the doctor to see if they wanted to see her....and they did. They were able to get her in on Friday morning, so Mommy stayed home from work to take her. We ended up meeting a new doctor in the office today, Dr. Cross. He seemed to be extremely nice and very knowledgeable, but I just couldn't get passed the fact that he looked as if he didn't quite yet have a driver's license, not to mention a medical license!! It was crazy, and that was all I could think about as he was examining Olivia. It was a little strange at first, but he certainly sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He did things similarly to how Dr. Baety would have done them, so I was okay with that. He indicated Miss Olivia had another ear infection, so prescribed amoxicillan again. After her first dose, it seemed to start working right away. It was like a night and day difference, which I know we were all thankful for. We finally had our Olivia back, and she was as happy as could be, which was a good thing since Mommy was leaving for her spa trip the next day!!! :-)

More teething!

Well, this past week has not been too much fun for Olivia...nor for Mommy, Daddy or Kathy. Olivia got another tooth this week, and had all the symptoms....drooling, fussiness, hitting the side of her face, biting her fingers, bad diapers, diaper rash, etc. Monday was a pretty rough day for her and she had started to run a little fever, so we knew to keep an eye on her. Tuesday, she had such a bad diaper rash that she started screaming the second we put her in the bathtub. It was so bad, that we couldn't even hardly finish her bath. We took her out right away, and knew it was hurting her. I put the ointment on her and of course she screamed about that, and then realized it felt wonderful. So, back to normal then! Come Wednesday, she seemed to be feeling a little better, although was just not quite herself. We didn't go to Grandma's for dinner and just relaxed at home.

Playing with my kitchen set

She must have put that pot in the microwave about a hundred times in a row!!

Olivia has had her kitchen set for quite some time...in fact, we bought it a while ago so we would have it at the house for Kaleigh. Kaleigh has absolutely loved playing with it, but, unfortunately, there just hasn't been enough room for it to be out all the time, so it was hiding out in the spare closet. However, today Daddy brought it out and the kids went crazy over it. Olivia has not stopped playing with it, so looks like we'll have to make room for it somewhere permanently!!

Pool Day!

The best shot we could get of all the kids together!

Miss Olivia and Emma

What a pair....

We had planned a pool day with the girls and kids while the boys went to their golf outing today. So, even though Aunt Shell and the kids had to leave early, we still managed to get some fun in the sun! The water was a little cool first thing in the morning, so Parker wasn't able to get in. However, we did get the rest of the kids in later in the afternoon..unfortunately, it was after Shell had to leave. We got some video of them today too, cause they were so funny together! Olivia kept swallowing the water and practically choking herself, while Emma wouldn't put down the hose, and Stella just sat back and watched them both! They were so fun, and had a ball together!!!

My favorite friends..

Kaleigh wasn't able to stay too long, but I managed to get a picture! Actually, she wanted to play on the computer and I made her let me take it before she did! :-)

Stella had to get her sun screen on before heading outside...

And, she had to put the hat on since she doesn't have too much hair to protect her head from the sun!

Emma Kate had to get lubed up too before going in the pool!

And, she had a ball with the hose all day. She loved the water...and trying to splash the others as well.

Weekly visit with Grandpa

Olivia and Parker started wrestling...with a little help from Aunt Shell. This is a pciture of Olivia winning....

...and this is Parker winning! :-)

The neighbors have a dog named Gunner that the kids absolutely loved! Grandpa was enjoying them playing with him as well.

Sweet Miss Olivia

Not sure if they were trying to escape, but they just about had the entire fence down cause they were shaking it so hard!
