Me and My Daddy!

Although she doesn't do it very often, Olivia will come snuggle with us every once in a while. A little tickling makes her stay longer, which is usually the tactic Daddy uses!!!

Chocolate Lips!

We tried to continue the potty training all wekend long, but have been unsuccessful thus far. She had not been too interested, or if she is, she will sit there for about 2 seconds and then gets up again..."all done!" In fact, she sat there long enough to want to go, but then walked into the living room and peed on the floor! I can see that this is going to be a long road! Each time she would sit down, we wanted to continue to get excited and give her treats, which are M&Ms at this point. As you can see from the picture, she had several M&Ms in her mouth, which caused the chocolate lips! :-) By the way, I realize she is sitting in a garbage can. Daddy took it out of his work truck recently...it is clean, but she couldn't get enough! And me being the wonderful parent I am (and crazy picture taker), I had to put her up on the table to get the best shot!

Pee Pee in the Potty!!!

I can do it, I can do it!

Today was a big day for Miss Olivia. She went pee pee in the potty for the very first time today! Kathy called Mommy at work to tell me the good news! I seriously had tears in my eyes...I know, ridiculous! But, I was so proud and couldn't believe it! Kathy was also able to get a few good pictures of her...who knew I would be posting pictures of Olivia on the potty?? Oh well, that's motherhood for ya! Anyway, Kathy said she actually went twice today, so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully we are well on our way! :-) Yeah Olivia!!!!!

Big Bite!

Olivia has become such a big girl by eating all her fruits and veggies, especially bananas! She absolutely loves them, but of course has to do it all by herself...which as you can see, usually results in major bites!!

Nana and Paw Paw's

Put your right hand in, put your right hand out...

This is a favorite for the kids...stealing Paw Paw's chair and then laughing when he has to sit on the floor!!!

Taking time out to read with Nana!

One of the big kids in Paw Paw's chair too!

Guess who was first at the table, ready to eat!?

Nana and Paw Paw had returned from Mexico (Beth and Darryl's wedding), and we hadn't seen them yet, so we invited ourselves over to visit and look at wedding pictures! Of course, we invited ourselves, yet they made lunch for us! It was the kids' favorite of course, spaghetti! We had a nice time and the pictures of the wedding were fantastic! We cannot wait to help them celebrate at their reception on March 1st! They are having a Fiesta party in honor of their trip to Mexico! We are looking forward to it!!

Working hard...or hardly working??

Keep up the good work!

A view from above...getting kind of close to the action, so Aunt Shell had to step in!

...and Gma had to watch Olivia too!

We went over to Gma and Gpa Davis's this morning cause the boys were going to help lay some tile in the entryway. It went pretty quick, and it looked good...they did a nice job. Of course, the kids wanted to "help," although we managed to keep them on the steps...even though every time we looked around they were one step closer to the action. They had a great time playing as usual...and took some time to give Uncle Tim some love!

Happy Birthday Emma!

Time for cake and ice cream!!!

Happy Birthday Miss Emma Kate!!

Such a good girl, not touching her cake (even though 5 seconds earlier we had to push it further away)!! :-)

Me and my Mommy

Parker and Aunt Shell

We went to Emma's birthday party this afternoon. She just turned two, and boy did we have a great time. None of the kids had a nap because of all the fun, so just imagine how that went! :-) We did actually have a great time, and the kids played fairly well together most of the day. We all still need to grasp the sharing concept a little better, but we'll get there! It was a great day, and outside of Emma not being able to keep her hands off her cake, it ran smoothly! She could hardly stand it, and that was the first thing she mentioned to anyone new walking in the door. But, we had to eat lunch first...then it was time for cake and ice cream...and presents!

More party pix

Birthday Party hats!!!

The first thing she had to find at Emma's was the baby and stroller!

Being silly putting the wrapping paper on her head!

I don't believe that is for you Miss Olivia...I think the toys are supposed to go in there! This is taking 'clean up' to the extreme!

Rock a bye baby!

Bubbles for everyone!!!!

Quiet week

We went to Gma and Gpa's for dinner Wednesday night, but I forgot my camera for some reason. Although, I'm starting to think many of the pictures I take at Gma's are repeats. If not, most of the pictures I take of Olivia in general are repeats. :-) Either way, no pictures from Wednesday, nor the rest of the week. I did work from home on Friday, cause Kathy and Brian left for Vegas. They went for a long weekend, without the kids and we hope they have a great time. Olivia allowed me to get quite a bit of work done, which is unusual because she typically wants to be in my lap while I'm on my laptop. She was pretty satisfied with her own laptop, and some of her other toys today! So, all was well!

Candyland...computer style!

You can barely see it, but they were typing in Olivia's name.

Sweet Olivia patiently waiting her turn!

Dora, Diego, Boots and Backpack

Daddy and Olivia were playing on the computer tonight, and Olivia couldn't get enough. They were on Dora's site and there was a free trial for the Candyland game...she loved it! She patiently waited for her turn each time and was excited to see her piece move along the board. There were little games along the way she could play as well. I'm not sure, but I think there may be a purchase in the near future!

New do!

Choo choo!!

C'mon Winston!!

Well, even though it has been long enough for a while, I never have put Olivia's hair up in a full ponytail. Although, as often as it gets in her face, I should do it every day. Similar to most little kids though, she really doesn't like to get her hair done. So, I had to be quick, but you get the idea!!

Brush, Brush, Brush!

Such a big girl!

Olivia has definitely gone is spurts where she is extremely interested in brushing her teeth (like Mommy), and then she would let you come near her another morning. Today however, Daddy let her stand up on the bathroom sink, so she could see herself...whole new ballgame! She loved it! She had to keep running her toothbrush under the faucet, but whatever it takes! Hopefully, this will get her excited again about doing it every morning. So far, she has about three toothbrushes, so we'll keep trying!

No More Pacifier!!!!

Well, as you all know, the only time Olivia ever gets her pacifier is at night when she goes to bed. She hasn't had it for quite some time during her naps, so there was really no reason why we didn't completely take it away. So, tonight when we walked upstairs for bed, after saying night, night to Daddy and Winston, I laid her down and she asked for it. I had actually just forgot it downstairs, so I told her I would go get it. When I left the room, I expcted her to start crying, but didn't hear a peep. So, I simply didn't take it back upstairs and she fell right asleep. No fuss, no tears, nothing! Unbeleivable! Had I known it would have been that easy, we certainly would have done it a long time ago. So, that was it. She asked for it for the next few nights, but didn't put up a fight at all! She has done so well with all of the transitions thus far, so I think it was more of a security thing for Mommy! However, the rest went in the garbage! No More Paci!!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy...again!

Brrrr...it looks cold out there Grandpa!

It didn't take her long to warm up to Grandpa today, although I think food had a little to do with it! :-)

Here kitty, kitty!!!!

We went to Steve and Mel's today to celebrate Daddy's birthday. We had to reschedule another trip over there cause of the weather, but today was beautiful. It was a little cold still, but the sun was shining! It was nice to get out there cause we hadn't seen them in a while. Olivia had a ball playing the Buddy, and the kitty! Steve has found a creative way to play with the kitty, as you will see in the pictures! He strung a little toy to the end of a ice fishing pole...only in the Cline family!!

So much to do...

Follow me Kitty!

She cannot resist...always having to bug the kitty!

Olivia was playing with Grandpa and changing hats with him! She liked Daddy's better!

Here Grandpa..you can have yours back!

Like this Aunt Jenny...it's right there!

Girls Night...Painting!

Can't you just see the creative juices flowing from this group! The artist is at work with her designs!

The girls adding the first paint strokes!!

The finished product!!

We went to Tara's tonight to help decorate her toy room! Aunt Shell is the artist, so she came up with the designs and the rest of us just colored them in. It was a lot of fun, and it turned out fantastic! The kids did great while we were there, and considering we were in the toy room painting, there was plenty to keep the occupied! Nice job Aunt Shell!!
