Such a pretty girl!

Silly Olivia!

Miss Olivia came home from Kathy's with her nails polished, and boy was she excited to show me!! It was so sweet, and she looked absolutely adorable...not to mention all grown up! She couldn't get enough and even when we were trying to get in our jammies, she wanted to see them again!!

Not Nice!

This was my "No Mommy" look from my family! As you can see, Daddy isn't helping matters at all!

So much fun!

Mommy, can you get this girl off me please!?

Like this??

Two peas in a pod!

Wheeeee....hold on tight!

Yeah baby!!!

Today Derrick, Angie and Miss Stella came over to visit. The boys had intended on putting the new gutter on the garage, but it didn't take them long to decide it wasn't worth it! Apparently, it was going to be too much work and wouldn't have made a big difference. So, on to the next option! However, the girls had all kinds of fun! It is hilarious that for some reason, all the kids swarm to Miss Stella and she cannot get them away. Olivia was no exception and she followed her around like a shadow, but Stella didn't seem to mind too much!

All work and no play...

Work, work, work!

Well, any time Mommy has to work from home with Miss Olivia around, we don't want her to be left out. So, she is either on her own little laptop, or the home computer, which was the case today!

More Funny Faces!

The partial look

Cheesy lips

Are you kidding me!?

Olivia was home with Mommy today and at lunch, she gave me some of the faces. She hadn't done them in a while, so she was pretty excited about the whole thing!

Keeping up the momentum!

Looking at me Mommy...I'm helping Daddy!

What's up there Daddy?

I don't know Daddy...it doesn't look safe to me?

The realtor this week gave us the added momentum we have needed, and having great weather didn't hurt it either! Shane had been planning to clean out the garage, so Miss Olivia thought she better help out!

It's About Time!

I have been asking Shane for quite some time now to have a realtor come to the house and let us know what we still need to do in order to get it ready to sell...and tonight we did! I was so excited and had my list ready and waiting. I had already wrote down some thoughts about what I thought we still needed to do, so knew I wanted to share that with her! However, to our surprise, there were not many things on the list that she thought we needed to do?? So, we walked through each room of the house and looked outside a little as well. She basically indicated we needed to de-clutter (toys) and simply deep clean, which we were obviously already planning. However, she did also share with us a few comparable housing prices she has seen recently in our area. She provided three houses that have sold recently, and what the asking and selling prices were. Again, the good news was we weren't too far off what we thought! So, we both felt better after meeting with her tonight, and I am hoping this is a good step in the right direction! Won't be long now...right!?

Playing Outside...

Olivia enjoying her brand new picnic table!

Since it has been a little nicer outside, we have spent most evenings playing in the yard. Olivia absolutely loves it, and even her bath is not enough to entice her inside lately! That used to work without failure, but now, we have to try something else...she loves it!!! And, we have all been ready for the nice weather!

Happy Easter!!!

We didn't hide the basket, but she loved it just the same!!!

She's not spoiled, right!?

Two at once...nice work Olivia!

Is there one under here Mommy?

Hey, what's in here??

The Easter Bunny came to our house this morning, and Olivia had a ball. She didn't quite know exactly what was going on, but had a lot of fun finding her eggs...and opening each and every one as she found them rather than waiting until the end! Did I mention she has become quite independent lately, and the easter egg hunt was no exception! She did great, and enjoyed all of her fun new things! After we got ready, we headed over to Dina's for a little while and then were off to Steve and Mel's for dinner. We had a great day, and boy was she tired when we got home!!!

Pit stop at Grandma's!

Ooooo...what's this!?

She loved this thing the most cause it spins and lights up!

Just leave me with my treats...nothing to see here!

I stand corrected...this was her favorite! She hasn't wanted to drink out of anything else since! Nice lady-like pose for ya as well!

She looks a little evil in this picture, but this is actually a laugh!

She was playing in the sink with Grandma...from what's she told us, they spend a lot of time in the bathroom...either at the sink or throwing buttons into the bathtub!? Who knew entertainment would be so cheap! :-)

We had to make a quick stop at Grandma's since we weren't going to see that side of the family today, and of course, there were more Easter Baskets and eggs to find! :-)

Last stop of the day...

Such a big hug Olivia...what a nice girl!

You cannot tell in this picture that she was actually banging her fork on the table, and chanting "food, food, food!"

Hours of fun to pass the time!

Peek A Boo!

Poor kitty hates when we come over!

Silly Grandpa!

After going to Dina's, we headed over to Steve and Mel's for dinner...and more Easter Baskets!! Is this kid spoiled or what!?

Wildlife Prairie Park

I don't know about all this Mommy...they look pretty ruthless!

Patiently waiting for the green light!

This year we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at Wildlife Prairie Park, and it was her first offical easter egg hunt...outside of ones we have done at home or Grandma's. It was so much fun, and she did wonderful. We were there right on time, and ready and waiting to go! However, they were running a few minutes late, so imagine an entire field of two year olds being told they had to wait about ten more minutes...which to them feels like a lifetime! They had the park divided by age group which was really nice, cause all I could picture was Olivia being trampled on by 4-5 year olds! So, it was organized quite well, and really all it consisted of was gathering everyone in a circle around the eggs and making a run for it when they said go! Olivia wasn't too interested to start running towards the middle, so we just hung around on the outside of the chaos and she managed to get quite a few! It was pretty funny to watch and in about 10 seconds, it was all over! :-) The Easter Bunny did come too, but she was satisfied just seeing him from afar! No need to sit on his lap or attempt to get a picture...she wasn't very interested! Nana came with us today too, so Olivia made sure she watched her every move too! Thanks Nana!

Go Olivia Go!!

Where did they go Mommy??

Look right behind you Olivia!

Mommy had to help a little and point some of them out, but overall she did great!

Another successful Easter Egg Hunt!

We can't wait for next year already!!

Making Progress....

Shane has been very motivated lately to get some more work done in the basement. So, in order to keep up with the motivation, we asked Grandma to watch Olivia tonight in order to really be able to focus, with no interruptions! :-) We actually got quite a bit done and it was extremely nice to be able to clear the basement out of all the junk we had been saving...well, I had been saving! It looks so much nicer down there, and I really think it will help to sell it, which is the ultimate goal! We are getting closer and I am starting to get more and more excited! Considering golf season is about to begin...we need to get as much done now!!

Coloring Easter Eggs!

Nice and steady!

She loved this part...and wanted to jump in and grab it!

Trying to get our hands clean and start from scratch...always nice to get a clean slate!

Look what I did Mommy!!

I really hadn't planned on coloring eggs this year, because honestly, I didn't even know if she would be interested. But Daddy insisted, which I was glad he did. She had a ball, and did extremely well. She was very anxious to get started and wanted to do everything "meself" (instead of myself). She has turned into little miss independent again lately and you cannot help her with anything!!!! Tonight was no exception. She wanted to dip the eggs herself and then just tried to grab them right out of the cups! It was hilarious...and surprisingly, not too messy!! We bought the kit that included the funny faces, which she thought was extremely funny. And you'll notice, we let her pick out what she wanted to put on them...so, some had to mouths and some had four eyes! Regardless, they were perfect!!!
