Before Mommy left...

Daddy and Olivia were trying to get some bonding time in before Mommy left for her next work trip. I was heading to Florida tomorrow, so this was nice to see before I left!! Apprently, they can get along just fine without me! :-) Although, I can see by the popsicles that she will more than likely be bribed into doing anything, and that I will have to get back into some type of normalcy when I get home!

Such a Big Helper!

First helping Nana with the flowers...

...gotta have the appropriate hand gear...

...then helping Paw Paw with the side yard. Although, he is holding a worm in his hands, which was far more fascinating for her!

Up and down the stairs...up and down, up and down!

Daddy went golfing again this morning, so Olivia and I went to visit Nana and Paw Paw. They were doing a little yard work, so rather than just get in the way, Olivia decided to help out a little. She was so proud of herself that she was helping, although I'm sure there was more clean up work after her "help" than anything else! Nonetheless, she had fun and Nana and Paw Paw enjoyed it too!

Busy Day!

As usual, our Saturday was pretty busy. The girls and I went to Tremont for the garage sales. We met Tara and Crystal, and although we didn't find too much, we still had a great time. It was beautiful weather, so it was nice to be outside...and Miss Olivia is starting to become a people watcher, just like her mother! So, she enjoyed being pushed around in the stroller! Afterwards, we met back at Mom's for a little bit and then headed to the Galley for dinner. The boys had gone golfing in the morning, so Daddy met us later that afternoon. Busy day, and Olivia was wiped! I didn't have any pictures from Saturday, but did manage to get some funny shots of her at home on Sunday!

My baby taking care of her baby!

Mommy was working from home today and Miss Olivia was a big help. She played with her baby it seems all day long. She took her for a walk, fed her, and even put her down for a nap. It was so sweet watching her get her chair all set up next to her in order to keep an eye on her. She was singing to her and trying to get her to sleep. It doesn't seem possible that she is old enough to know what to do! :-)

Work Trips

This was a picture of the Arch as we were getting on the dinner cruise....

...and this was an even better picture from the cruise once the sity was lit up!

Well, for the next two weeks, Mommy has a few work trips that she has to go to...the first this week was in St. Louis. Some of the HR Reps were invited to a meeting in St. Louis for three days. It was a nice chance to build relationships with my team, but I was leaving Shane and Miss Olivia. As you can see from the pictures, she was glad to have me home and apparently knew I was going to have to leave again soon!

It must be something good...

Daddy left for Iowa this morning, so it was just Olivia and I tonight. She wanted to watch some cartoons for a little bit before going to bed, and as you can see, it must be a pretty good show. She has really started to be able to sit down and get through an entire show, so I have to admit, it's time to stat limiting it already. It is sometimes so easy to let her watch it, while I get stuff done around the house. However, we need to keep an eye on it! :-) I am finally able to understand why they say some parents use it as a babysitter!

It has to end sometime...

On Sunday, we spent the entire day at Gma and Gpa's with Uncle Joe, Aunt Guylynn, Dani and Gabby. They were leaving on Monday, and unfortunately, we had to work so Sunday was our last day with them. We always have a hard time leaving them, and hate to see them have to go...but more importantly, we always have a wonderful time when we do see them! We make the most of it, and spend quality time visiting! It was such a nice surprise, and we hope the next visit is sooner than later! We had discussed a short visit to Colorado for Aunt Shell and my birthday, so we'll see if we can talk the boys into it!! Cross your fingers! Some additional pictures from Sunday are listed below!! We love you guys! Have a safe trip home!!!

Fun Sunday at Gma and Gpa's!

Yummy...cupcakes for everyone!!

Sweet Olivia loves to throw the ball...she has a pretty unique wind up...all the way over her shoulder! :-)

Daddy was getting some good tickling time in with the kids!!

All the kids were playing with leftover balloons from Gma and Gpa's party! Enough fun to last for hours!! :-)

Look at the difference in clothing...Gpa is hot and Gma is cold! :-)

Dani, Aunt Guylynn and Aunt Shell

We got a much better view of the Blue Angels from Gma and Gpa's house today! It was pretty neat to see them!

They were a little high up, but it is still a decent shot!

They were flying right over the house!

More Sunday Pix

Olivia started running straight for the street, so Daddy was giving her the what for! She was getting in trouble and looks so sad, but it really is scary that she does that! Not to mention, she knows better, so don't feel too sorry for her!

Miss Olivia didn't get anything from McDonald's when the rest of the girls went, but that was okay...she found all the leftovers after they took off!

Apparently, they had had a long day and it was time for a nap!

Happy 75th Gma and Gpa!

The Davis Family

Grandpa and Uncle Joe

Aunt Guylynn and Uncle Joe

Aunt Mabel and Grandma

We had a big birthday party dinner at Avanti's tonight for Gma and Gpa's 75th birthday. We had such a great time, and it was nice to see everyone. I think they were a little overwhelmed, but we all had a ball. We don't get the entire family together too often, so this was a nice occasion to bring us all together!! Happy Birthday!!

Air Show at Nana's

We went to my Nana and Paw Paw's today to get a glimpse at the Blue Angels. It was a little hard to see from their house, even though they live so close to the airport. So, no pictures here, but all the kids loved the show. Olivia was a little scared at first and you could feel her body tense up as she was gripping my arms, but she finally got used to them. They were flying pretty close to the house, so she was unsure at first.

Two Peas in a Pod!

Peek a Boo

Whatever one was doing, the other one had to do it too...as usual!

Not sure what these looks are all about, but they are certainly up to something.

Playin' ball with Paw Paw!

Eyes on the ball...

Thanks Paw Paw!

Swing and a miss! So close!

Playing dinosaurs (only the ones Parker let us have) with Kaleigh!

What a wonderful surprise!!!

I ended my Friday afternoon at work with a phone call from my Aunt Guylynn, who was sitting in Bartonville at my Gma and Gpa's house! I couldn't believe it, and it was the last person I expected to hear from. So, I packed things up as fast as I could, and just took off! I came home very quickly (speeding only a little), packed up Olivia's bag and headed over there. I couldn't get there fast enough to give them all a big hug! It has been way too long since we've seen them, since they live in Colorado, and it was the best surprise they were here to visit. It didn't dawn on me at first that they came into town for the 75th birthday party we were having for my Gma and Gpa, but thought it might just be to see all of us. Either way, it was wonderful to see them. We got to my grandparent's house and got to visit all night. We ended up ordering pizza for everyone and had a ball just catching up! They are here until Monday, so there will definitely be more pictures. The ones from Friday night are listed below!!!

Olivia and Grandpa catching rain drops...in their mouths...way to go Grandpa! She'll likely be sick tomorrow! :-)

This was Olivia trying to get as close to the rain as possible. I had instructed her to come inside out of the rain, and this is as far as she got. Notice the line of wet sidewalk just past her knees!

Me and my Olivia!

It was extremely tough to get a picture of all the kids, but this was a good attempt.

This is a few of them creating a disaster in the toy room. This is Kaleigh, Gabby (my cousin Danielle's little one), and Dru (my other cousin Erin's little one).

This was not the pouty face I had in the prior picture...this is much better!
