Lazy Day!

Mommy and me!

Mommy had her Swap N' Shop event planned for this afternoon, so it was Daddy and Olivia time for a few hours. When I got home, I could tell they were having a lazy day. It didn't take them long to finally fall asleep!

Dinner and a boat ride...

Well, if you can believe it, I actually forgot my camera even though we went downtown on the river front to have dinner with Steve, Mel, Jenny and Don, and then to ride in their boat. This was the first night we have been able to take a ride, and it was such a great night for it. We sat outside and had dinner right on the river, and then they took us out for a ride. It was so much fun, and a perfect evening. After going up and down the river, we docked back on the shore and sat in the boat, had a few drinks, and listened to a band that was playing. It was wonderful, and although we didn't bring Olivia out for the first time, we will definitely have to bring her out the next time we go. Daddy was a little nervous and wanted to check it out for himself, before bringing her out! Hopefully, we'll get again really soon!

A moment to herself...

Well, since Kathy had Thursday and Friday off, Aunt Shell graciously volunteered to watch Olivia for a second night in a row! I couldn't believe it, but greatly appreciate it. Since they were at my house already, she just took Olivia back home with her. Well, the bad news was, I was able to get Olivia in to the doctor on Friday for her bloody noses. She had been getting several bloody noses lately, so we started getting a little concerned. We called Dr. Baety and he wanted to check her out just to be safe. So, Aunt Shell met me at the doctor's office and this was what I found when they pulled up. I can only imagine how the past two nights have been for Aunt Shell, so it was nice that she actually had a quiet drive in to town! Thanks Aunt Shell for all your help!

A big help...

Mommy had a project meeting for work this week, that she just couldn't get out of, and Kathy needed Thursday and Friday off. So, since Shell was still off for the summer, she volunteered to help watch Olivia. Rather than try to get up early in the morning, I took her to Aunt Shell's tonight to spend the night. She was so excited and couldn't wait to get there. So, Thursday she was supposed to bring Olivia back to my house and they were planning to stay for dinner...boy was I surprised when I walked in the door. Shell and Shane had planned the whole time to start de-cluttering/cleaning the house. For those that aren't aware, I have been wanting to put our house on the market for quite some time. And, in order to do that, we needed to do some major cleaning and getting it ready. Well, since work has been so busy, it just seems the days are passing by too quickly, or we have something else going on. So today, Aunt Shell, Daddy and Nana went to town on the main floor and outside. I walked in and everyone yelled surprise!!! It look amazing! They made it look like a whole new house, and I was speechless (no comments)! It was such a nice feeling to know that they helped get a head start and give me the motivation to keep it going...or at least, try to keep it going! I was shocked and so appreciative. The entire main floor was cleaned and de-cluttered and Shane finished the lanscaping in the front yard! Thanks everyone for all your help!!!

Girls Night Out!

Mommy and Crystal with our fun new drink!

Aunt Shell and Aunt Tara

Even Kaleigh was having her drink with us!

Crazy girls attempting to take our own picture!

Tonight was long overdue...girls night out! With the way work has been going for all of us lately...we really need to do this more often. However, we will take what we can get! Tonight we were going to dinner first and then back to Shell's for some games and fun! We went to Chili's for dinner, made a pit stop at the store, and then headed for Shell's. A few drinks later, we cracked open the board games, and had a ball. I attached some of the pictures, but as the night went on, we'll keep the rest just to ourselves! Actually, we simply had a great time and really didn't get too out of hand! :-)

Fun in the Sun!

My little crab!

They were both being silly, laying on their bellies...monkey see, monkey do!

I have no idea!?

Parker took time out for lunch...finally!

So did Kaleigh....

Today may have been the first official day, I took my scheduled day off (don't look back in the event that wasn't the case, but it sure felt liek it)! In case I haven't mentioned it before, I switched my hours at work so that I work a little longer each day, in order to get every other Friday off. Up until now, that has simply meant that I work from home on that Friday, but small steps are better than none. Today was different though. Shell and I decided to take the kids to the pool today because the weather was beautiful. So, I said heck with work...it will be there when I get back! So, off we went. The kids had so much fun together as usual, and we could barely even get them out of the water to eat. What a great day!

Golf, Golf, Golf!

Yeah Daddy!!!! We did it!!

Helping Daddy line up the ball....right in the hole Daddy!

Well, it was such a beautiful night and Shane was intchin' to go golfing again, so Olivia and I went along for the ride. We typically drive the golf cart around while Daddy does the golfing, but Olivia gets to join in occasionally as well. She enjoys "helping" Daddy get it in the hole, whether that entails putting it in herself, or using her hands to pursuade the ball to go in! It is pretty fun to watch because she gets extremely excited when it goes in!! Yeah for Olivia!!!

Nana and Paw Paw's

Silly Olivia...she loves playing on the steps at Nana's, however lately she has seemed to like laying on them even more!

I think she learned the "sliding down on our stomach" trick from Parker!

Rock N' Roller!

We went to Nana and Paw Paw's to visit this afternoon. I think the boys were golfing again, so the girls were looking for something to do to pass the time. We typically don't complain about the amount of golfing the boys do, cause that is usually our time to gets the kids together and visit the family! Apparently though, Parker was not too excited about one or the other...my guess is he didn't like the fact that the boys were golfing! Do you think?? :-)

Cookout!

This was a rare shot of them actually sitting still...together! Although, you can tell from Morgan in the picture, they did have snacks to get them occupied for a short period of time!

First it was Stella's turn on the bike....

...and then it was Olivia's turn!

Not sure what this look meant, other than she was trying to figure out why Stella was not pushing her high enough!? Who knows??

Playing house...in and out, in and out!

This seemed to be a moment in which they were trying to figure out who has the laptop first! :-)

Wagon rides for the girls!

We have been trying to organize a cookout with the gang ever since we got back from vacation, and fortunately today was the day. Not everyone could make it of course, but we did enjoy some time with Derrick, Angie, Dan and Christine...and oh yeah, Derrick did get some work out of Shane while he was there. They were hanging some drywall in the garage, so Angie and I had a nice visit and watched the girls play. There are too cute together, and follow each other around like two peas in a pod. Of course, we did have a few disagreements with who was playing with what toys first, but they managed to sort things out!

Slow Week...

Oh yes, that's Mommy on the teeter totter all right! Believe it or not, I didn't fall off! But, for some reason, I didn't enjoy it as much as I did when I was a kid!

Going fishing with my Daddy!

She is like a little monkey when it comes to the playgound, although she seems to be taking her own sweet time with this bridge!

Not much to report for this entire week. We were home pretty much every evening, and didn't have much going on. So, on Friday we were ready to get out of the house and do something, so off we went to the park. Do I really need to say that Olivia loved it! That is her new thing...any time you ask her what she wants to do...she replies, "go to the park Mommy." So, we couldn't resist!

A Fun Day at the Lakes!

Olivia loved playing in the trailer, and had to peek out of the window every chance she got!

She also loved being able to open and close the door through the small window. She acted as if it was built in there just for her!

If you look closely, it looks like she is balancing the ball on one finger. Although, in reality, it just bounced right off her head!
Little Miss Hot Stuff!

She sat cross legged in front of Daddy, and loved every second of it!

We finally made a trip to the lakes today and considering we haven't spent much time out there this summer, it was a really nice day. The Cline family (and then some) all showed up, so we had a great visit and enjoyed a beautiful day! Of course it wouldn't be a Cline family function without motorcycles. Even Olivia was able to partake in the activities. She absolutely loved getting on with Daddy and didn't want to get off. The weather was beautiful, so after we ate and rode the bikes, Olivia got in the water with Aunt Jenny and Uncle Don. Surprisingly, she wasn't afraid of the water like she was the ocean, and she even let Don take her out pretty far. It was nice that Jenny and Don were there to get in with her cause Mommy and Daddy didn't bring their suits. We spent several hours at the lakes, but Miss Olivia was wiped and ended up falling asleep on the way home. All in all, it was a great day!

Chatting with Grandpa!

Taking a walk with Grandpa...going fishing!

Sitting on the bench having a chat with Grandpa!

Paddle Boat/Swimming

Look at me Mommy! I'm helping Daddy paddle!

Whoa, that water looks awfully close!

Let's see...something is missing in this picture!?

Saggy butt!

Hi Mommy!

Olivia wasn't too scared to go in the lake with Aunt Jenny and Uncle Don, although she didn't venture out too far!

Thanks for helping Uncle Don!
