Mommy and Olivia Day!
Mean Uncle Don...no wonder why she doesn't want to come to your house! :-)
I love my Aunt Jenny though!
Movie Star!
Mommy and Aunt Jenny!
Granpa and Aunt Jenny!
Sweet Grandpa and Ina were dancing as well!
Olivia found a friend and were actually dancing and having a great time until she tried to steal some of her glow sticks!
Dancing machines!Daddy had to work this morning and he knew it would be a long day, so since it was so nice, we decided to head into town to visit Nana and Paw Paw. And since Paw Paw was relaxing and watching his football game, we took Olivia to lunch and shopping! Could you ask for a better day!? We had fun and I finally found a purse I had been looking for for quite a while....and it was on sale! So, a very successful day! After shopping, we took Nana back home and then headed to a wedding reception for Shane's cousin Lindsay. It was at his Uncle's house in Pekin, so we met up with Jenny and Don and spent the evening with them and Grandpa. Olivia found a little friend and they were dancing the whole night...so cute!

Homecoming Parade!
Hi Kathy!!! Thanks for the candy!!
This was right after they drove by...she was so excited to see them!!
Mommy had the day off which was great because Eureka was having their Homecoming Parade this afternoon, so we were able to go! We drove over to the streets and then found a great spot righ on the first corner, close to the school! Since Brian is now the Dare Officer for the schools, he was in the parade so Kathy and the kids got to ride along in his police car with him! It was so sute cause they dressed them all up in black and white striped outfits and hats, like little prisoners. They looked so cute and of course Olivia loved seeing them in the parade...not to mention they threw candy directly to her!! She had so much fun and she got so much candy...even before Halloween! What a fun day off!Wednesday, September 24, 2008

Bath Time!

This never gets old! Olivia loves her bath time so much and I get a kick out of her playing in it too! She didn't like the bubbles not too long ago, now she cannot get enough! Tonight, as I was draining the water out, she was laying on her back and splashing and kicking (picture her making a snow angel in the tub). She said, "Mommy, look! I'm swimming like a dolphin!" She paused and then said, "A really pretty one!" It was so sweet! Who knows where she gets these things!!!

Another...unwelcome visitor!
I absolutely hate these darn things, and they seem to just love to hang around the house! In fact, I flicked one off the back deck this morning and then later on went outside with Olivia to play, and as I was walking back in the sliding glass door....there he was, haning out right above the door. He was on the attack and apparently didn't like his little trip! It was so funny, cause surely he was looking for me for revenge! Anyway, one more trip over the deck and I think he got the message! :-) Sunday, September 21, 2008

Happy Birthday Party Day!
We went to the Children's Discovery Museum for Kaleigh's birthday party today! Olivia was so excited and was singing Happy Birthday to Kaleigh all morning...and to herself some as well! We got her all ready by getting dressed up and getting her nails done...such a princess! The day started with getting our faces painted, eating lunch and birthday cake...and then running around like crazy people throughout three floors of the museum! There is so much to do, and simply not enough time to do it all...not for lack of effort though. I do think they made it to every station for at least a few seconds! More time was spent at the water table, the music room and the paiting room than anywhere else...which wasn't a surprise! They would have been satisfied if that was the only three things there, but what a fun day! I don't have too many pictures of the birthday girl, and I was following Olivia obviously for the most part. However, Shell should be posting her pictures soon as well, so check them out on her site at a later date!!! The pictures I have of the day are listed below (5).
Fun, Fun, and More Fun!

Happy Birthday!!
We better hurry and cut the cake before these two get their hands on it!
Yummy!!!
Pickin' tomatoes for Gma and Gpa!
We went to Gma and Gpa's for dinner tonight to celebrate Gpa's birthday and they also had a cake for Kaleigh since they aren't able to go to her birthday party next week. Dinner and birthday cake...you can't beat that!!!

Daddy's Girl
Well, this was a sight I couldn't pass up...after Olivia's bath tonight and as she was brushing her teeth, Daddy attempted to blow dry her hair. He did a great job and although the look on her face didn't say she was enjoying it too much, I was pleasantly surprised that she let him do it!!! Had you asked me two years ago, I would have never guessed Shane would do this Olivia, but I absolutely love it! I think he even surprised himself a little!Sunday, September 14, 2008
Happy Birthday Kaleigh!!
They were watching something funny on the computer...although I think Grandpa was tickling her too!
Grandpa was coming over today to watch some motorcyle racing with Daddy, so I decided to go in to work for a few hours. It was actually nice that I got quite a bit done, and got home just in time for Grandpa to come over. They watched the races and Olivia was able to spend some time with Grandpa too!!

More fun for the kids!
We were up bright and early this morning for the MOM Sale at the Riverplex. I took Olivia with me since Daddy was golfing again, and Dina picked her up to take her to breakfast. It is near impossible to shop at the sale with her, so I greatly appreciated it. Angie also met me at the sale, so that was nice to spend some time with her too! After the sale, I picked Olivia up at Jenny's and got to visit with her too. We then headed over to the Morton Pumpkin Festival Parade. We met at Dan and Christine's since they lived right down the road and were able to walk to the parade. It had just started when we got there, and luckily Aunt Shell had aldreay gotten a good spot. The kids did wonderful and had a great time at the parade. Afterwards, Aunt Shell and the kids came over for a while to wait on the boys. Since I wasn't going to see Kaleigh on her actual birthday (tomorrow), I wanted to give her part of her birthday gift tonight! Basically, it was everything Hannah Montana and she loved it!!! The pictures of the day are listed below (2).
Parade pix
Sweet Stella waiting in her stroller!
Look Mommy...she was always so excited to just get one piece, while all the other kids were racing after the rest!
Taking a break after the parade!
Playing so nicely, with everyone on their own side of the light bright.
A consistent sight when they all get together!
