First official food!

Tonight was Olivia's first official food (other than cereal). She tried carrots for the first time tonight and actually really like them. We didn't get pictures of the occasion cause Shane was behind the video camera instead. However, I will tell you it was a funny sight. To begin with, Shane and I made the mistake of giving her a bath before she ate...not too smart on our part. So, needless to say, she did good at first and was a little surprised with what she was eating, but then got more and more excited about it. So excited, that she grabbed the container and got her hands all in it...then decided to wipe it all over her leg! Shortly after that, she started getting fussy and eventually was crying pretty hard. She had enough and was definitely letting us know it! Hopefully that was a sign of not wanting to be a messy eater...but we'll see how that goes! Just in case, we will definitely not make the mistake of getting our bath before eating! What a fun night...next on the menu...green beans!! :-)
