A New Day...8 Months Old!

Well, I was a little hesitant to take Olivia back to Kathy's today, but she seemed to do okay last night and this morning. She didn't really eat much this morning, but she was extremely happy, so I gave it a try. I took her to Kathy's and again said to call if anything happens or if she wants me to come get her. Mommy called to check in around lunch time, and she seemed to be doing okay...not too good though cause she had quite a few nasty diapers again, and was not interested in her bottle. And, she was a little more fussy today too! She was so tired most of the day and slept quite a bit. We talked about the fact that it seemed to be symptoms of teething, so Kathy said it really wouldn't be necessary to get her early cause she was sleeping quite a bit. So, even though I thought about her all day, I didn't pick her up early today. She was doing okay when Daddy picked her up and was simply doing a little more of the same. Mommy had to get her haircut tonight and since it was Wednesday and Daddy had poker, he took her to Nana and Paw Paw's. When Mommy picked her up, she was sleeping...and she hadn't had her bottle. She ate her food okay, but wanted nothing to do with her bottle? So, I visited for a while and she actually woke up for a few minutes, so I thought I would try to get her to drink some of it. She only ate a little, and I didn't want her to wake up too much cause it was past her bed time. So, I got her in the car and headed home. She fell right back to sleep and went straight to bed when we got home...no bottle. On a positive note, Miss Olivia turned 8 months old today!! I cannot believe it...I started thinking about it again today, that I need to sit back and ensure I am enjoying every single moment of this whole adventure! Things continue to happen so quickly and it is important to slow down and enjoy..the good and bad! :-) One other positive thing for the day was she started clapping. We have been practicing quite a bit and she started copying Nana and Paw Paw when they did it tonight! Yeah...big girl!
