Baby Landon and Michaela

Big Sister and Baby Landon

Sweet Baby!

Mommy was home with Olivia again today cause she had a doctor's appointment with Dr. Beaty first thing this morning. It was wonderful, and I am so glad we made the switch from the other office to Dr. Beaty. He is fabulous and I felt better walking out afterwards today than I have ever felt about any other visit she has had. He was so informative and actually spent some time with us, rather than rushing in and out! He answered every single question I had, and was extremely thorough with her. For example, he could actually tell me he thought she would get her top teeth first, because he actually felt in her mouth and spent time feeling them...our previous doctor never did that at all. He felt her reflexes, which the other had never done. I told him about the "twitching" and he went into an explanation of what it could be, and his initial thoughts..he was telling me things we had never heard before and actually seemed concerned about it. He even said he would call the hospital to ask questions about the EEG she has scheduled so he knew what they were going to do. And, more importantly, he didn't think the bump behind her ear is a lymph node!! So, he was concerned about it and wanted to refer us to a specialist to take a look...they called a few hours later! So, he was great and I sure wish we would have switched sooner!! After our visit, and since we were out and about, we went to visit Baby Landon and Michaela. Boy is he a cutie!!! He is so tiny and I feel like I cannot remember when Olivia was that little, although it was only a few months ago! It definitely reminded me how big she was getting, cause she looked huge compared to him! Everyone is doing great, and they were sure glad to see Olivia too!!

OH no Missy. I really hope that her twitches and her bump is nothing. Keep us posted. That's so scary.
