Party Time!

Ready for my cake...I have my towel so I don't get too messy!

Today was Olivia's big birthday party at Oak Grove. Mommy got up early this morning to get the last minute running done, and Daddy stayed home with Olivia...hoping she would go down for her nap before they came to the party. Unfortunately, not the case! Mommy had gone to get the cake, food, etc. so were in separate vehicles, but after almost an hour of Olivia just playing in her crib, Daddy thought they should get in the truck and drive around to try to put her to sleep. I was sure hoping she would have at least had a cat nap before the party, otherwise you just never know what kind of mood she will be in. But, even without a nap, she did great. She had a ball and was so interested in what everyone was doing...even though she didn't know they were all there for her! She was just happy to see everyone...although by the end of the party, she was wiped out! She was so tired, but never did get fussy cause there was too much to do! However, she did sleep the entire way home and then some more when she got home!!! It was an exhausting day for all of us, but definitely a successful party! Now, we just have to figure out where to put everything!! :-)
