Today was a great Mother's Day! We started the day by going to Grandma's first thing this morning for breakfast. We had bought Grandma some new dishes and Aunt Jenny came up with the brilliant idea that we should serve her breakfast on them! So, that was the plan, and it worked great. She was so surprised! Unfortunately, Mommy's camera wasn't working that morning, so she couldn't get anything on film...can you imagine! However, Daddy came up with the best idea of the day...he has been wanting to get me a new camera for a while, and today was the perfect day! After breakfast, we went to Best Buy to pick it up...it was beautiful and since it was a little more expensive, Mommy told Daddy he was covered for Mother's Day, our anniversary (next month) and my birthday in June! So, I'm going to hold him to that! After our shopping trip, we went to Jackie's for a cookout and to see Nana and Great Grandma! Fortunately, I did have my new camera and had plenty of opportunities to try it out and get used to it!! :-) It was quite a bit different from my last one, so it took a while to figure it out! But, no worries, I got it!! :-)
