Here comes Santa Claus..

Well, we made it to East Peoria to see Santa Claus. The entire drive there we were getting her excited and she had the biggest smile on her face. She was getting anxious and acted as if she couldn't wait. As soon as we got there, we got in line. It wasn't too long and Kaleigh and Parker were right in front of us. Olivia waved at Santa the entire time and couldn't keep her eyes off him. She didn't act scared at all, and was even excited when Kaleigh and Parker sat on his lap (although Parker wasn't too thrilled). However, the story changed when it was our turn. The closed I got to him, the more her entire body clenched to mine. Her arms and legs could not wrap any tighter around me, and she didn't want any part of it. Rather than sit her in his lap anyway, we made our way to the sleigh they had available too. She sat up like a big girl, but also wanted Mommy and Daddy to be in the picture too. So, here sits Olivia in her pretty Christmas dress and Shane and I were in our jeans. Not quite the image we were going for, but it would have to do. We also got a few of the kids on the bench in front of Santa as well. She was a lot more happy then!!
