Nana and Paw Paw's

And so it begins...tonight was the first Christmas for Miss Olivia. We went to Nana and Paw Paw's house first. Grandma St. Clair, Aunt Shirley, Aunt Sis and Harold were able to come and visit, as well as Doc and Bev (Marc's parents). We had so much fun and Miss Olivia really got into the whole gift thing for a while. Then, she must not have been going fast enough because Kaleigh wanted to help out. :-) She did good though and although it seemed a little overwhelming, she seemed to be enjoying herself. She wanted to stop and play with every little thing, but there was no time...on to the next gift! We had so much fun watching the kids open gifts and then we sat around and visited for a while. Nana and Paw Paw had their annual work Christmas party the night before, so they had all kinds of leftovers for us. It was perfect. Then, it was Miss Olivia's turn to eat...not so perfect! She was eating her green beans like a good girl and all of a sudden, it all came back up. I keep saying I could have scooped it right back into the jar, cause it was that fast after she was done. There was no time to digest it or anything. So, Mom was a wreck cause this was the first time she has actually thrown up her food...every other time has been a bottle or just spitting up. But this time, it was awful and Mommy was in tears. The look on her face was so sad, and I felt helpless. She needed me to do something, and I couldn't for the life of me help her fast enough. It was terrible, but she was perfectly content afterwards. She didn't really drink much of her bottle the rest of the night either, but seemed to be doing okay. She just seemed to lose her appetite? She may be coming down with something, so we'll just have to keep an eye on her. I did manage to get some pictures (imagine that) of some of her gifts...a new puppy, the circus animals, a cell phone and musical guitar! Let the play time begin!!
