Day Six: The Zoo

We were all pretty excited when we got up and ate breakfast this morning...well, at least the girls were! We decided to take them to the zoo today, so we couldn't get them ready fast enough. We didn't quite know what we were in for, but once we got there we knew! It was so hot that day and the zoo itself is set down a little, so there was absolutely no breeze at all! So, needless to say, we were only there for a little over a hour, but that was long enough! The zoo itself was a little small, but it was perfect for them. They had a ball walking around and the heat really didn't seem to phase the girls! We made sure they were drinking lots of water, and it ended up being a great morning!

After the zoo, we decided to try somewhere new for lunch. So, we found a place called The Reef and although it was a dive, they did have good food. The girls were ready for a nap after that, so it was time to head home. Although, there were no naps to be had. They wanted to go swimming instead, so it was nice to cool off. We stayed home that evening for dinner and once the girls were in bed, we went to the souvenir shop again to get our airbrushed T-shirts for the girls. We wanted to be the typical tourists and get them each one and then attempt to get a picture of all four of them in their shirts. We'll see if that works!!
