The interesting mind of a two year old...
We went to Nana's tonight to visit and help sort through her holiday decorations. She has collected snowman for the last few years, so has accumulated quite a collection, and it was time to minimize. Aunt Shell and I sorted through all the boxes of both Halloween and Christmas decorations and now we all have quite a collection! It was fun, and the kids had a great time getting their hands in the middle of it as well. However, what was even more funny was Olivia and my conversation on the way into town. It went a little something like this....
She was eating round cheese crackers (Better Cheddars) and took a bite of one and said...
"Look Mommy, I made a boat." Which, much to my surprise, it did resemble a boat (of sorts).
She took another bite and said, "Look Mommy, I made a moon." Again, it absolutely looked like a moon shaped cracker.
Then, she took another bite and there was almost nothing left of the cracker. Mommy said, "Now what did you make Olivia?" to which she replied, "A crumb."
Priceless.
Then, as we were getting closer, she asked if we were going bye bye and I replied, first we were going to Nana and Paw Paw's and then we may need to stop at the store.
Her response...."I want to go to the store to buy something for my Daddy."
I said, "What would you like to buy for Daddy?"
Her answer...."A dougnut."
Hilarious!
