The aftermath....

so, as great as well felt the night of the race, the next morning was a completely different story! We could barely move the next morning, and our entire bodies were sore! What a difference a night's sleep makes! We were told that we would be sore, but this was nothing like we expected. What was even tougher was knowing we would have to be in a car for the seven hour drive home, and were not able to stretch much at all along the way. When we did have to stop for gas, we just laughed at ourselves cause we must have looked pathetic getting out of the car. It was terrible, and although I couldn't say it until the next day, it was worth it! We were still beaming with pride and couldn't wait to get home to share the news!!! When we did get home, I walked in the door and had the follow signs greet me!! It was so sweet and they couldn't have been more proud as well. It would have been nice to have them there cheering on the sidelines, but it was also nice to have that kind of welcome when we got home!!!
