Miss Attitude

Lately Miss Olivia has started to figure out that if she just cries to get what she wants, it sometimes works. However, we're on to her and have been doing our best to nip that in the bud as soon as possible. In fact, Kathy mentioned today that she took something away from her and she instantly started throwing a fit and screaming. Well, trying to be strong (good job Kathy), Kathy left the room to see what she would do. Needless to say, she stopped crying just as quickly as she had started and was trying to peek around the corner to see where Kathy went. As soon as Kathy came back into the room, the tears started right back up again. So, Kathy left the room again and she did the exact same thing...stop crying, then start when she can see her again. Each time Kathy went to the other room, she couldn't help cracking up at her...I can imagine it was pretty comical! So, she is a little more clever than we think and we're going to have to keep an eye on that!! :-) Also, Olivia has been extremely curious about what we are eating when we sit down at the table, and will even lean over in her seat to get a good look. She has been doing the same thing at Kathy's and won't take her eyes off Michaela and Dalton when they are eating..she definitely wants what they are having. So today, Kathy was trying to feed her, but she was so interested in the other kids' food that she just spit hers out! They were having mac n' cheese and it must have looked more appealing. So, after a few attempts with her own food, Kathy took some of the mac n' cheese and mashed it up a little more and she had that! Kathy said she ate quite a bit and just loved it! So, we are definitely closer to the "people" food. Good thing her doctor appointment is Monday, and I will verify what is okay and what is not!! Lastly, I managed to get a few shots of us playing tonight, and Olivia reading her book. Not sure what is happening with the hair thing, but she must have wanted bangs today! :-)
