One Year Checkup

Miss Olivia had her one year checkup this afternoon with Dr. Baety. He hadn't seen her since scheduling her surgery, etc. so it was nice to have him take a look at her again. She did great, although she had to get 3 shots and her finger pricked for the hemoglobin and lead test. So, she was not happy about that at all. She was laying on the table and started to turn a little shade of purple again cause she started holding her breath. But, as soon as the nurse was done and I could pick her up, then she took a big breath and started crying again. It only took a minute or so and she was fine again. She weighed 20 lbs. 9 1/2 ounces, so is getting so big! We got the green light to stop her formula...yeah...and we can now turn her car seat around to face forward...another big thing for Mommy! It has drove me crazy this entire year that I couldn't really see her and what she was doing in the back seat. (The pictures are from Daddy's truck, so unfortunately, we cannot turn that one around, but we can see her better in this one!) So, all good news! She is still doing wonderful!!
