Poor Aunt Shell, not sure she was excited we came over to add to this!

What a face Miss!

Parker was glad to see us!
Sweet Olivia...she was having fun spending the day at Aunt Shell's.
So was Parker!
A loud crash was responsible for waking us up this morning at about 5:00. We both jumped out of bed, and couldn't believe what was happening outside. The lightening and thunder were as bad we we've ever seen or heard, and it was quite a sight! We've never been in an actual tornado, but it sure felt like we were about to be in one! It was pretty scary, and amazingly, it didn't wake Olivia at all. She was sound asleep, which was a miracle. Shane and I on the other hand, were standing on the front porch checking things out...as were several others on our street. It was a beautiful scene, but also very scary. After a while, our power went out, as did our entire town I think. So, I decided no one from work needed to see me like I was at the moment, and decided to head to Aunt Shell's to get ready rather than go straight to work. As we were still getting things ready, and once the storm had finally passed, we went outside to assess the damage. You couldn't even look up and down any street without seeing entire downs blown over or damaged from the wind and lightening. In fact, we had an entire limb get hit from our tree and it landed in the neighbor's yard. It was so big and heavy that it left a huge hole in the ground. It was actually pretty crazy to see, and Shane wanted to get it out of the way before heading to work, so was out there trying to break it up into smaller pieces. So, we finally got Olivia up and headed to Aunt Shell's for the day and to hopefully get some work done from there. The kids thought this was great and had a fun day! We did end up going to Bloomington to get Mommy's laptop and get some errands run in the meantime. All in all it turned out to be a fun day, and I was able to get some work done!
