Glad to be back...

Good to see you too Olivia!

I realize this is a contradiction from the last post, we truly were sad to leave, but glad to be home! Nana and Paw Paw picked us up from the airport, and it was great to see them. Since they left, we had talked to them on the phone several times, but we really needed the big hug! We didn't spend too much time talking cause we were exhausted and just wanted to be home. I called and talked to Kathy right away and Olivia was sleeping. I felt guilty, but wanted to geta few hours of sleep before picking her up, and since she was sleeping too, it worked out great! I came home and got a few hours of sleep, and then picked her up!!! Boy was it great to see her...it took her a second to remember that I hadn't been there for a few days, but then she ran right over to me!! It was awesome!! I couldn't get enough of her for the next few hours, unfortuantely shortly after that, we had to get ready for the visitation for Aunt Sis. Shane had to work late so wasn't able to go, therefore Kathy offered to watch Olivia for me again while I went for a little while. She is fabulous! I was able to go and spend some quality time with the family, it was extremely emotional, and since we were emotionally exhausted already, it was pretty tough. Not to mention, we had to see our 94 year old grandmother crying, and that is never a good thing. She looked great though and was actually doing better than I thought. After visiting for a while, it was nice to pick Olivia back up and spend the rest of the evening with her. You wouldn't know it from the first few pictures I took, but she seemed to be excited to see me! :-)
