More Potty Fun!
We were back at it bright and early this morning, and was feeling pretty encouraged from yesterday, hoping it was going to be just as successful. We were going to Nana and Paw Paw's today, and with the other kids around, I knew she would probably be too busy to take time away to go potty. But, we took our seat with us so we could continue to try!
7:30 - She woke up this morning with a wet diaper, but we hit the potty as soon as we got up and she went for me again. So, we were off to a great start!
9:00 - We started to sit back on the potty to try again before we headed to Nana's. I really wanted her to go before we left, so we wouldn't go in the car on the way. She didn't want anything to do with it though for some reason. So, we tried for about an hour before we left, before we decided to just go for it. So, we put on our undies and off we went. On the way, she fell asleep and we ended up getting stopped in traffic for over a half hour. So, I thought for sure when we got to Nana's and she woke up, she would be wet. But, she was dry!!
I was starting to get a little discouraged once we got there, cause she hadn't gone since about 7:30 that morning. I think I was starting to get a little worried, cause she just wouldn't go.
12:30 - Finally she went on the potty for us!!! We were all so excited and celebrated with Aunt Shell, Nana and Paw Paw. And, Mommy felt a lot better too! She was playing outside with Paw Paw down by the creek and with the baseball, but I knew we had to keep asking her. So, we did.
2:30 - She finally went again for us before we left Nana's. And, after having some juice on the way home, I knew it couldn't be too long before having to go again.
5:00 - I just had to ask her one time if she had to go potty, she said yes and she went! This is getting easier and easier as the day goes by. She is really starting to get the hang of it, and actually excited about doing it! It may be the little prizes or the fact that we run around the house like crazy people when she goes, but either way, we're on the right track!
6:45 - She was playing outside again and got too busy to come in. Even though we asked her several times while we were outside, she had an accident. No worries...we went right back in and tried again later.
8:30 - She peed again at 8:30 and then a little more right before going to bed at 9:00. Another successful day!!
She did great today and although today was a little more frustrating than yesterday, we are all hanging in there!! We are so proud of her!!!! The pictures from today are listed below.
